Public Wants Change
A recent Ipsos survey involving 1001 New Zealanders highlights widespread disillusionment with the government and societal structures, indicating a perception that the economy benefits the elite while ignoring the general populace. This dissatisfaction is driving a majority to support a strong leader capable of challenging the established order, reflecting a global trend towards populism across political spectrums, with particularly strong feelings among Māori, low-income workers, and the youth.
What leaders / leadership qualities do you believe can navigate New Zealand's current societal divisions and restore trust in the political system?
